The La Loca Page
Some of our dirtbag neighbors didn't control their own, the sheriff was too lazy and incompetent to control them, they continued to run loose; over the years they killed six of our goats, and we ran out of patience because of uncontrolled Killer Neighborhood Dogs. So, we got our own. Her name is La Loca (The Crazy Woman) and her only job in life is to attack any dogs that enter our pasture. So far she's done a great job on the two that made it in. They didn't die but they won't be back. Best of all she loves people and wouldn't hurt even the smallest child.

Loca came to us from an old Seismic buddy( and great guy) in Arizona named Zdenek "Hans" Blabla. He is a breeder that imports guard dogs from Czechoslovakia. He's got animals working for Dan Quayle and the Phoenix Swat Team. With the best Shepards available in the U.S. he has been in the breeding business for 20 years. Check him out at http://www.alpinek9.com Hans came to our place in AZ with Loca in the palm of his hand and she has been with the goats ever since. The turning point in her training was when she helped "mother" the goat triplets during their birth this spring. She even keeps the other goats away from them. She has also been a popular personality in the restaurant.
These pictures were taken when she was the tender age of 12 months. She has filled in a little over time and is becoming much more attentive to her surroundings as time goes by. Her favorite game to play is "Hide the cash!" We hide fresh $1 bills and she searches them out. To date she has come out of the Arizona desert with $12.00 in her mouth.
If she saves the lives of the goats and comes home with $10,000 she will defintely be inducted into the Old Dewey House Hall of Fame! If she doesn't we'll always love her just the same!
